ffl News and Events
The Santa Clara County Office of Education, fit for learning (ffl) Program received the Kaiser Permanente Obesity grant in Fall 2011. The goal of the Kaiser Obesity Grant is to fund programs that decrease calorie consumption, increase consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables and increase physical activity in community and institutional settings. This goal is in line with the focus of the ffl Program, which enables teachers to integrate nutrition education and physical activity into their classroom lessons and activities. The Kaiser Obesity grant, in the amount of $27,500.00, will afford the ffl Program the opportunity to provide outreach to over thirty schools this year. Kaiser Permanente is an integral partner is supporting student health and wellness in schools communities across Santa Clara County.

Thank you!!
