ffl News and Events

The fit for learning (ffl) Program received a generous donation in the amount of $25,000 from the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Foundation, presented during the Santa Clara County Board of Education meeting on July 21, 2011. These monies were raised via the King of the Mountain Cycling event, sponsored by the Silicon Valley Leadership group on May 18, 2011.

The Silicon Valley Leadership Group works to promote a high quality of life for all populations within Silicon Valley, by organizing senior managers and principal officers of member companies with various local, state, and federal government leaders to impact public policy and practice issues related to community health and wellness. The funds will allow the ffl Program to continue to provide valuable health and nutrition education and services to children across Santa Clara County. The check was presented by Mr. Carl Guardino, President and CEO of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, to Santa Clara County Board President, Mr. Joseph DiSalvo.

Thank you!!
